Stand can deliver boost to regional businesses

Businesses are following up a string of leads after successfully showcasing their services on an East of England Energy Zone stand in Amsterdam.

The joint stand at the Offshore Energy exhibition and conference has been hailed a success by all involved.

Nine exhibitors shared a prominent space at the two-day event which put them on the radar of thousands of visitors, delegates, businesses and developers from across the energy word.

Feedback to the EEEZ was very positive, with all companies receiving interest which is now being chased up in the hope of turning it into business.

The stand, as well as highlighting supply chain services, also sparked interest through hosting a programme of top speakers – and showed the strong teamwork stemming from a partnership of business and local authorities.

Simon Gray, from key EEEZ partner the East of England Energy Group, said: “Our stand received high footfall not only due to the high calibre of exhibitors but also due to an excellent array of speakers including Aker solutions, James Fisher Marine Services, Shell, The Oil & Gas Authority, The Southern North Sea Energy Alliance, GE Renewables and two presentations from Equinor.

“Both EEEGR and EEEZ would like to thank all the speakers, exhibitors and visitors to the stand for their support and tremendous feedback that we have received.”

The EEEZ is looking to do further trade delegations in the UK and Europe. To register an interest in joining future stands email info@generate-energy.co.uk and ask to be alerted about future stands.
